Beach Haven will provide beachside retreats free of charge for children and the families of children who are or have been treated for cancer. As parents of a child with cancer, the founders, Peter and Tiffany Wagner have experienced the healing power this type of retreat can have. Most families are so busy taking care of the day to day that they rarely seek opportunities to share their feelings about how cancer has affected their relationships, and most are uncomfortable doing so. The relaxing nature of a beach vacation, combined with the opportunity to connect with other people who really understand what is happening in their lives, is what Beach Haven will offer.
